You Have AI Questions

Which of our "boring" tasks are actually repeatable? Some redundant, manual tasks that benefit from being automated include:

  • Creating estimates and proposals; while not really boring since getting new business is anything but that, and can safely be automated since an AI automation process can do more estimates and proposals quickly.

  • Employee onboarding - your HR department can give you a list of tasks that can be done by AI, such as form completions, new hires reviewing company policies and creating/updating employee records.

Financially, is it worth automating certain tasks?

  • It is! Think about the hours per week and the salary/hourly wage that is used to do something manually that happens every day or week, and you can see how automating those tasks - or even just one - will give you back time and use an employee's salary in a better way.

How can you budget for an AI automation project? If you are crunching numbers, here are two options:

  • Pay a one time project fee that includes setting up the AI automation and training your employees to do it; this includes you paying for the AI automation tools for building and running the task.

  • Hire an AI consultant to set up the AI automation using her tools and pay a monthly retainer fee to keep the automation running.

Can AI automation tools work with my current tech stack, such as Slack, Shopify, QuickBooks, HubSpot, etc.? Yes, the AI automation tools Tyto uses works well with many current tech tools in use.

  • The AI automation process connects to your current tech stack.

  • Each tool in your tech stack is a single or multi-step process in your AI automation workflow.

  • Tyto AI Consulting only uses AI Automation tools are no-code or very low-code, so that anyone can take over the AI Automation if you choose to do it in-house after Tyto AI Consulting trains you on the new tech stack.

  • If you choose to do the AI Automation yourself, you own the custom workflow; otherwise Tyto owns it for you.

What are the security risks and concerns using an AI Automation workflow?

  • We always evaluate your proposed AI task automation before committing to building, testing and deploying. If our risk analysis concludes that sensitive data such as medical, financial and legal information would be used, you would make that decision based on your expert knowledge of your industry.

  • Internal tasks and processes that are not public facing are fairly risk free, but we always recommend looking at risks to ensure they are safe to be included in an automation workflow.

  • We recommend that one of your employees monitors the automated workflow to ensure it's being in a safe, secure environment.

  • We help you develop a plan that if the AI automation workflow goes down, your business operation continues.

What can I tell my employees about using AI tools to automate one or more tasks? While you know your workforce better than we do, here are some points to make:

  • Their jobs aren't being eliminated; they are no longer doing a task that nobody really wants to do because it doesn't increase their knowledge, expertise or skillsets now.

  • They will be involved in the automation process from start to finish, so that they understand the steps that are in place to do the task for them - human overview is essential.

  • You will put a plan in place to have more than one employee who is knowledgeable about the specific AI Automation process and tool, so that there is no single point of failure.

  • For simple AI automation workflows that you use, the learning curve is quick since these are no-code solutions.

Evaluate the AI Automation consultant's knowledge and experience:

  • Your AI Automation consultant talks to you in language that resonates - for you, it's about saving time, increasing opportunities for new business and profit margins, not AI-industry jargon such as MCP, LLM, jailbreaking, etc.

  • AI automation consultants can be generalists, taking on clients in multiple industries and learning about it as they build out AI workflows

  • AI automation consultants, based on past careers, may specialize in a few industries to field automated workflows quicker.

  • Start out risk-free by hiring an AI automation consultant first to do an AI audit or conduct a discovery session with you to see which tasks are candidates for automated workflows.
