Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds: 

​

Our course cancellation and refund policy is outlined below. If your course registration is canceled for any reason by Tyto AI Consulting, you will receive a credit for any registration fees already paid, which may be used to re-register or reschedule your course. This credit will expire one year from the date of cancellation of the initial course. No-shows will not be treated as a cancellation and will not be eligible for the rescheduling credit.

Weather-Related Cancellations: 

​

We may sometimes choose to cancel classes if severe weather makes attendance unsafe for students or instructors. If this happens, we will notify you by phone or email. We will reschedule your class as soon as possible.

​

Illness and Health-Related Cancellations: 

​

If an instructor is ill and unable to teach as scheduled, we may bring in a substitute or cancel the class. If a class is canceled due to instructor illness, we will notify you by phone or email. We will reschedule your class as soon as possible.

​

Personal Cancellations:

​

If you cannot attend a class, you must notify us five days before the class start date to request a refund. An administrative fee of 10% will be deducted from the refund amount. If you cancel fewer than five days in advance, you will not be eligible for a refund.

​

No-Shows or Missed Classes:

​

Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or missed classes without prior notification.

​

Rescheduling: 

​

You may reschedule a course one time at five business days in advance for no additional fee. A $50 administrative fee will be assessed for each additional reschedule or for reschedule requests received less than five business days in advance.

Successful Course Completion: 

​

All courses require attendance and participation in all online and in-person class sessions.

​

Payment Methods Accepted: 

​

PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Debit/Credit cards. Invoicing & payment via check may be available for approved businesses, government entities, and nonprofits only. Inquire for approval. Any returned checks will incur a $50 fee.

Cancellation & Reschedule Requests: 

​

All cancellation notices and requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing to nmcdonald@tytoaiconsulting.com or by phone at 202-725-1422.

 

Refunds Requests and Processing:

​

You must submit refund requests by email to nmcdonald@tytoaiconsulting.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after we receive the request. If you paid by credit card or online payment system, the refund will be issued back to the original payment method. If you paid by cash or check, refunds will be provided by check.

By registering for a course, you are confirming that you have read the cancellation and refund policy above, that you understand it, and that you agree to its terms, including all requirements related to coursework and prerequisites and the assumption of risk and waiver of liability above. If you do not agree, you may not register for a course.
